R3M Engineering, Inc. is seeking Civil Engineers to support current water and wastewater planning, design and construction projects involving large pump station and treatment plant rehabilitation, flood protection systems, standby power resiliency facilities, and pipeline infrastructure rehabilitation, inspection, repair and replacement of water mains, force mains and gravity sewers.
R3M is searching for candidates with expertise in the public water and wastewater engineering market. R3M is looking to bring on key individuals with proven experience and relationships to help grow our practice which is located in Old Bridge, New Jersey.
Management Requirements:
- Manage multiple technical assignments while leading project teams to complete projects to exceed client expectations for approach, scope, budget and schedule.
- Develop and maintain client relationships, understanding their current and future needs to ensure expectations are met.
- Plan, review, and prepare professional opinions on water and wastewater systems proposed for our clients’ service areas, and make presentations at meetings.
Technical Requirements:
- Demonstrate technical excellence in the performance of project assignments including planning, design, project management, regulatory coordination and construction services.
- Effective ability to assemble and present written recommendations on processes, prepare reports; inspect, test and evaluate treatment plants and processes; and prepare design and bid documents.
Project and Marketing Experience:
- Prior experience in collection system planning, design and studies; water distribution system planning, design and studies.
- Prior experience in hydraulic analysis of water, wastewater and stormwater systems.
- Experience and understanding of site plans, grading, drainage, and paving systems for water and wastewater projects.
- Proven experience with environmental rules and regulations in the water and wastewater field.
- Experience during startup of wastewater processes and systems is preferred.
- This candidate will support major projects involving the planning, design, permitting and construction of water and wastewater collection, pumping, distribution and treatment systems.
Educational Background, License, and Other Requirements:
- BS Civil or Environmental Engineering
- New Jersey PE
- 5-10 years of experience
- Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen and have a valid driver’s license.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
